He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Spencer and Dorothy Spencer; and his siblings, Gilbert Spencer, Harold Spencer and Patricia Wheeliker.

He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Sean Spencer (Kelly) and Alisha Spencer (Matthew); his brother Keith Spencer; his siblings-in-law, Elmer McIntosh and Jackie McIntosh; his grandchildren, Taylor (Mitchel), Mackenzie, Evangeline and Sawyer; his nieces, Ann Margaret, Julie and Jodi; and his nephew Derek.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aubrey's name to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
