With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine O'Brien (Riverview, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard and Ruby Morgan Joyce; and her sister Ruby. She is survived by: her husband Daniel F. O'Brien of Riverview; her son Richard (Kelly); and her siblings, Jeannie, Shelia Faye, David and Jamie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center (330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, NB E1B0E4).
