He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Carter and Madeline Carter (Miller); his parents-in-law, Donald Colpitts and Isabel Colpitts (Lewis); and his brother-in-law Thomas Colpitts.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta (Colpitts); his sons, Scott Carter (Janelle) and Mark Carter; his grandchildren, Tyler Carter (Meghan), Emily Carter (Adam) and Caitlin Carter (Nigel); his great grandchildren, Paisley Schlief and Kenley Carter; his brother Douglas Carter (Shirley); and his siblings-in-law, Rachel Hopper (Michael) and Brian Colpitts (Sheilla). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Dennis, memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
