She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cole and Ruth Cole; her husband Donald Joseph Gothreau; and her son David. She is survived by: her children, Gwen White (Rodney) and James Dawson; her stepchildren, Wayne Gothreau (Patricia), Marlene Deveau and Gloria Gothreau; her sister Carol Cole; her grandchildren, Rodney Jr., Sarah, Rachel, Tony and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Tradon, Mason, Dawson, Rowan, Nolan and Anabel. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
