He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Charles Broad of Maplehurst and Laurene (Robinson-Broad-Goddard) of Hartland; and his brother David Broad of Perth Andover. He is survived by: his wife Linda Broad (Haines) of Florenceville, NB; his children, Ron (Charleen), Angelina, Randy and Rob; his grandchildren, Kaley, Avery, Alina-Lynn, Katelyn, Kody, Adeline and Atom; his siblings, Charles Broad (Anna), Stephen Broad (Jeannie), Alice Arsenault (Clarence) and Mary Lapierre (Paul); his mother-in-law Rose (Watson-Haines-Merrithew); and his siblings-in-law, Mark Haines (Nancy), Don Haines (Pam), Nancy Matthews (Steve) and Calvin Haines (Grace). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
