He was predeceased by: his parents, Finlay Ross and Nora Ross (Morash); and his former wife Carrie Ross. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Ross; his children, Christine Cahill (Mark) and Andrew Ross; his stepchildren, Shelley Damery (Gary), Scotty Killam and Tony Killam; his grandchildren, Michael and Meghan; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Jaxon, Finlay and Weston; and his cousin Ross Brown (Margaretta). He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
