He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Knowlton and Lavinia Knowlton (Hawkes); and his brother Donald "Rusty" Hawkes. He is survived by: his wife Hollis Knowlton (Steeves); his children, Michaele-Ann (Larry) of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Kim Bishop (Darrell) of Ponoka and Matthew Knowlton (Michelle) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Chris (Nola), Bradley (Emily), Riley and Cole; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Ellie, Henry and Otto; his sisters, Bettyanne Rossiter (John) of Riverview, Marie Dixon (Gene) of Riverside-Albert, Verna Elliott (Parker) of Lower Coverdale and Bonnie Sobeck (Kim) of Moncton; and his sister-in-law Joan Hawkes of Moncton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his extended family and his many, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H3K2).
