We bid farewell to John T. Melanson of Riverview, New Brunswick, born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2024. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Melanson and Rozie Melanson; his son Michael; and his siblings, Mona Pettigrew, Fred, Wayne, James and Jerry.

He is survived by : his wife Eileen; his daughters, Diana Melanson (Bernie Cormier) and Cindy Gaudet (Robert); his daughter-in-law Karen Melanson; his grandchildren, Crystal, Melissa, Raymond, Stephanie, Chris, John, Ashley and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Tara, Chloe, Douglas, Sophia, Vicki and Olivia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center (330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview, NB E1B0E4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
