He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Betts and Dorothy Betts; his wife Judith Anne "Judy" Betts; and his brothers, Curtis and James.

He is survived by: his children, Trevor Betts (Stephanie) of Summerside, PEI and Jennifer Betts of Riverview, NB; his grandchildren, Sophie, Chloe, Ella and Will; and his brothers, Doug Betts (Betty) of Moncton and Ronald Betts of Moncton.

Donations in Junior's memory made to the Friends of Moncton Hospital Palliative care unit would be appreciated by the family.
