She was predeceased by: her parents, Firth Carter and Edith Carter (Randall); her husband Irvin Colpitts of Colpitts Settlement; and her siblings, Kenneth Carter, Marion Smith, Barbara Tweedie and Alice Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Colpitts (Debbie), Robert Colpitts (late Carole-Ann), Russell Colpitts (Carol), Helen Bannister (David) of Colpitts Settlement and Sharon Fournier (Al) of Colpitts Settlement; and her siblings, Winston Carter, Charlie Carter (Thelma), Edward Carter (Joan), Noreen Gardiner and Edna Flanagan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Tweedie Brook Pentecostal Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
