He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Grant and Irene Grant; and his brother-in-law Don. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his stepchildren, Meagan (Jeff), Christian (Trish) and Justin (Katrisha); his siblings, Anne (Addah), Rachelle, Michel (Ghislaine) and Gerald (Lisette); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Lola and Hannah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
