He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cox and Alice Cox (Standing); his son Blake; and his siblings, Betty Vardy, Lorraine Touchings, Tom Courage and Fred Courage.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes (Morrison); his son Robb; his sisters, Vera Murray and Jane Henneberry; and his sister-in-law Margie Courage.
