He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Grace (Fraser); and his brother Raymond. He is survived by: his wife Valarie (Barnes); his daughters, Merna Touesnard (late Bernie) and Jill Edwards; his grandson Todd Touesnard (Nikki); and his great grandchildren, Weston and Bea. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
