He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara Coates (Kitchen); his parents, Leslie Coates and Velma Coates (Geddes); and his sister Elva. He is survived by : his children, Terry (Patti), Peter and Todd (Holly); his great grandchildren, Tera, Jenna, Dakota, Charley, Daxton, Madison, Jace, Ellie and Westley; and his siblings, John, Ruth, Gerry and Laurence.
