He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovila Niles and Berthe Niles (Thériault); and his siblings, Dorothy, Maria and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Avis Niles; his sons, Pierre Niles (Antonella) of Gatineau, QC and Denis Niles (Sylvie Côté) of Ottawa, ON; his brothers, Eugène Niles (Francine) of Moncton and Hubert (Gaétane) of Miramichi; and his grandchildren, Stéphanie Niles of Nanaimo, BC and Philippe Niles of Toronto, ON. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
