We bid farewell to Verna Darlene Carter of Riverview, New Brunswick, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2026 at the age of 86. Verna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Colbourne and Ella Colbourne (Yensen); her husband Jack; her son Danny; and her sisters, Ardith, Treva, Garda and Ada.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Tingley (Dale) of Hopewell Cape and Greg Carter (Ina Lynn) of Lower Cape; her grandchildren, Erin (Craig), Jeffrey (Ashley), Christine (Perry) and Jacquelynn; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, Sydney, Lucas and Angus; her sisters, Lorraine of Sussex and Ramona of Ontario; and her close friend Willis McKinley. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
