He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawson Nixon and Maxine Nixon (McCrum); and his wife Phylis Jean Nixon (Stevens). He is survived by: his children, Eric Nixon (Sheri), Pam Nixon (Kevin Richards), Maureen Chaundy (David) and Steven Nixon (Melanie Wilson); his grandchildren, Jessica Lanteigne (Miguel), Joshua Dow (Kendall), Michelle Chaundy, Andrew Chaundy, Rachel Nixon and Daniel Nixon; and his great grandchildren, Aliee, Oliver, Nevaeh, Bowen, Alexander, Felicity, Zayden and Jayden.
