She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Mackin and Mary Mackin; her husband Roch Fernand Gauthier; her children, Mark and Patricia Portigal; and her siblings, Catherine Ramsey (Warren), Michael (Joyce), James (Helen), Barbara and Richard (Amelia).
She is survived by: her children, Philip, Ryan and Roxanne; her brother Philip Mackin (late Barbara); her grandchildren, Mark Gauthier, Claire, Michael and Simon Portigal; her children, Mary Mackin, Richard Mackin and Saint John; her friends, Marie, Betty, Celestine, Wendy and Dianne; her son-in-law Mic Portigal; Marife, Diane, Lisa, Ade and Dawn. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, NB E2E 5E4).
