James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dunlap and Barbara "Jean" Dunlap (Spinney); his daughter Laurel; his sister Janet Dunlap; and his brother-in-law Joe Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Geri (Downey) of Rothesay, NB; his stepdaughter Lindsey Reid; his stepgrandchild Lexi of Rothesay, NB; his brother Terry Dunlap (Geraldine) of Saint John, NB; his son Jamie Dunlap of Newfoundland; his sister Pege Peters of Lake Utopia, NB; his nephews, Jeremy Peters and Joel Peters; and his close friends, Rick Doucet and Mike Murphy. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. George Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated by the family.
