He was predeceased by : his parents, James Payn and Molly Payn (Griffin); and his brothers, Mel and Richard Payn. He is survived by : his wife Lynn (Werner); his children, David Payn (Caroline) of Langley, BC, Jim Payn (Jessica) of North Vancouver, BC, Mara Payn-McGrath (Kelly) of Rothesay, NB and Kristin Payn-Smith (Steve) of Dartmouth, NS; his siblings, David Payn (Lesley) of Turo, NS, Robert Payn (Valerie), Beverley Jones (Bill) of Aliston, ON and Ellie Elkhart (Don); and his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Frederique, Samuelle, Christopher, Kayla, Bronwyn, Madeline, Jackson and Kate. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
With Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all those 12 and older attending the service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of a government-issued ID or proof of medical exemption.
