He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Kantor (Burbery) and Joseph Kantor; his former life partner Sharon Roy; and his grandparents, Harry, Mabel Burbery, Joseph and Rose Kantor of Hungary.

He is survived by : his wife Wendy Kantor (Masson); his children, Stephen Kantor Jr. (Shannon), Donald Lucas and Cyndal Lucas; his siblings, Debbie Hawkins, Mary Shaw (Bill), George (Barbara MacKenzie), Robert (Beverly) and Paul (Chris); and his grandchildren, Lukus, Shayla, Cooper, Sawyer and Rowan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
