She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joris Ploeg and Aukje van der Ploeg; her siblings, Martin van der Ploeg (Betty), Klaas Vanderploeg (Mares), Hendrik van der Ploeg (Tineke), Hilly Westra (Rients), Tineke Rauwerda (Coert) and Hinke Smits (Jouke); her husband Johannes; her children, Rebecca, Greg, Tim and Jessica; her friend Norman Amos; her family, Anneke and Ed; and her grandchildren, Rowan, Theo (Tim), Anneke, Ava, Stella, Tegan (Dan), Rona and Piers (Marianne). She was also cherished by her grandchildren and the Hunter cousins.
