He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Atkinson and Dorothy Atkinson (Wood); and his wife Ann Atkinson. He is survived by : his grandchildren, A's, Academics, Athletics and Arts; his children, Joan Hayes (Larry Hodder), Peter (Vicki) of Rothesay, NB and Alan of Sackville, NB; his grandchildren, Hayley, Christopher, Kristeen, Connor, Alex, Brody and Kara; his sister Marion Brien of Fredericton, NB; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Macdonald, Milnathort and Scotland.
