Austin Robert Hicks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Austin Robert Hicks (Sackville, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Robert Hicks and Dolly Maude Hicks (Sears); his former life partner Carol Hicks (Spencer); his siblings, Blaine Hicks, Elaine Landry (Hicks) and Yvonne Shay (Hicks); his nephew Jason; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Landry, Madelyn Smith and Norman Cole.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Hilda Beal-Hicks (Cole); his children, Michael Hicks and Wanda Harbert (Brian); his stepchildren, Todd Ormand Beal (Tracy) and Tracy Ann Beal; and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Hicks, Sidney Cole (Ruth) and Robert Shay. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Austin may be made to the charity of one's choice.
