She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Blackburn and Amy Blackburn (Trenholm); her son Russell Maxwell; and her brother Eldon Blackburn. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Carter (Sterling) of Amherst, NS and Pamela Gray (Rodney) of Fenwick, NS.; her grandchildren, Caitlin MacPherson (Ryan), Paige Willett, Amanda Willett, Blake Carter and Eva Gray; and her sister Carol Hicks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
