She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnstone and Catherine Johnstone (Finlayson); and her siblings, Margaret Waddell, Emily Lindsay and John Johnstone.

She is survived by: her children, David Wells of Faro, YK and Catherine Stright (Bruce) of Kingston, NB; her grandchild Stacy Chambers (Mark) of Petitcodiac, NB; her children, Melissa Arsenault (Brad Williams) of Deer Lake, Nl, Marc Stright (Tessa) of Quispamsis, NB and Michael Stright (Niki) of Quispamsis, NB; her great grandchildren, Bryson and Drew Chambers; and her grandchildren, Ava, Emmett Stright, Sawyer, Thea and Sullivan Stright. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
