We announce the death of Cathy Lynn Kay (Sackville, New Brunswick), who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 67. Cathy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Cathy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Cathy will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Cathy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Howard Kay and Edith Doreen Kay (Ward); and her brother Bruce Robert Kay. She is survived by: her sister Susan Geldart (Stewart); and her nieces, Lori Crousse (Robert) and Tina Westrup (Jon). She is also survived by her two great-nieces, as well as by her four great-nephews, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Dorchester Rural Cemetery (5110 NB-106, Dorchester, NB E4K3C3).
If so desired, donations in memory of Cathy may be made to the IWK Health Centre or to the charity of one's choice.
