It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil James Hicks (Sackville, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hicks and Constance MacNeill; his son Michael Murray; and his brother-in-law Gary Morice. He is survived by: his children, Meredith Campbell-Jess (Darin Jess), Melissa Murray (Craig Hamlin), Nicala Stacey (Dennis), Natasha Sadoway and Myka LaFrance; his sisters, Sharon Hicks (Percy Best) and Sylvia Morice; and his grandchildren, Stacey (Tom), Jordan, Sachi, Maiya, Ella, Finn, Madison and Logan. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
