He was predeceased by : his parents, Lorenzo Carson and Mary Carson (Hunter); his daughter-in-law Barbara Carson (Carroll); his grandson Logan Crossman; and his siblings, Catherine Reid, Evelyn Beal Lane and Cecil.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis (Fagan); and his children, Donnie of Amherst, NS, Bob Carson (Dianne) and Barbie Crossman (Roland). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
