She was predeceased by: her father Albert Melanson; her husband Gordon; her brother John; and her granddaughter Hannah Burns. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Melanson (Butler) of Sackville; her close friend Eric Wood; her children, Lesley Burns (Frankie) of Sackville, Scott (Christine) of Sackville and Shane of Sackville; her grandchildren, Travis (Lucrèce), Abbi, Emma, Aidan, Owen, John, Drew and Peyton; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Sloane; her sister Betty Dickie (Cecil); and her caregivers, Tina, Mary, Nancy and Claudine.
