She was predeceased by: her son Mark Bembridge; and her former husband Merl Bembridge. She is survived by: her husband John Ovenden; her children, Sheryl Lirette (Wayne) and Jeff Bembridge (Val); her grandchildren, Scott Phinney (Mary), Adam Phinney (Katelyn), Julie Allen (Daniel) and Duncan Bembridge; and her stepchildren, John Ovenden (Sandy), Pat Buma, Kenny Ovenden (Denise), Tim Ovenden (Charlotte) and Randy Ovenden (Fay). She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
