He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Johannes Houtsma and Jetske Koopmans; his caregiver Beverley Johnstone; his close friend Daylene Lumis; his children, Rebecca (Willy) of Sackville, NB, Greg (Elizabeth) and Warrensburg; and his grandchildren, Tegan, Rona, Piers, Rowan, Theo, Ava and Stella.
