She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Lorne Bell and JoAnne Bell (Innes); her husband David Hawkins; her stepdaughters, Britt (Neil Dixon), Erin (Jon Augspurger) and Michelle; her siblings, Holly Bell and Brian Bell (Carmen Connolly); her nieces and nephews, Natasha Bell (Jean Hébert), Lekas Bell (Shannon MacDougall), Ashley Faddoul (John) and Jacob Lekas (Sophia Allen-Rice); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Ella Faddoul, Ziggy, Jovie Bell and Harrison Gordon; her friend Janet York of Toronto; and also Grace Augspurger.
