She was predeceased by : her parents, Desmas Brine and Eileen Brine (Mahoney); and her brother Walter Brine. She is survived by : her husband Art Chase; her children, Timothy Chase, Terry Chase (Valerie) of Middle Sackville, NS and Jennifer; her grandchildren, Jessica LeBlanc, Patrick Chase, Joshua Chase-Wood and Aaron Chase; her great grandchildren, Austin and Haley; and her brothers, Edward (Elizabeth) and Lowell (Roberta). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Sackville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the charity of your choice.

“I was so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Our nursing class spent 3 years together @ Hotel Dieu from 1959-1962. Mary was loved by all of her classmates ,she was such a gentle soul. Our condoleances to her husband ,children and extended family . May she RIP.”
