He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Smith and Helen Smith. He is survived by : his wife Eileen; his children, Linda Somers (Jim), David Smith (Kelly) and William Smith (Patricia); his grandchildren, Matthew Somers (Heather), Christopher Somers, Alexander Somers, Danielle DeWolfe (Nick), Corey Smith (Darcie), Jordan Smith and Lyndsey Sundstrom (Evan); his great grandchildren, Emmett, Theodore Smith, Lyla and Rory DeWolfe; and his brothers, Harvey (Heather) of Tucson and Allan (Elaine) of Sackville, N. B.. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
