He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Throop and Hedwidge Throop (Landry); his daughter Joanne Jones; and his siblings, Roger, Ludger, Evangeline Lirette and Delia Bates.
He is survived by : his wife Joyce (Barnes); his daughters, Jocelyn (Michael) and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Jack and Jacob; his sisters, Jeannette Strang (John), Rosella Nadeau and Roberta Collins; and his sister-in-law Margaret Clare. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
