He was predeceased by: his parent Vilimos Lakatos. He is survived by: his wife Sylvie Fournier; his mother Isabelle Lakatos (Akerley) of Saint-Leonard; his sons, Travis Akerley of Saint-Leonard and Scott Akerley of Moncton; his granddaughter Hailey Gagnon Akerley; and his siblings, Gilberte Byram (John) of Saint-Leonard, Philippe Akerley of Saint-Leonard, Robert Lakatos (Georges Lakatos) and Jimmy Durepos (Kathleen Durepos) of Montreal. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
