He is survived by : his parents, Jean-Marc Poirier and Charline Poirier (Gray) of Saint-Antoine; his siblings, Danie Martin of Moncton and Gabriel of Saint-Antoine; his niece Ellie; and his grandparents, Ernest, Angela Gray of Saint-Louis, Fernand and Gilberte Poirier of Aldouane. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins as well as all of his many friends.

In Miguel's memory, donations may be made to the homeless people.
