Gérard touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Gérard’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pascal Martin and Ida Martin (Michaud); and his siblings, Arthelin, Yvon, Robert, Pauline and Gaitane.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ginette Lortie-Martin (Robert) and Donald Matin (late Jacqueline). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saint-Andre Parish Cemetery.
