He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Richard and Leocadie Richard (Bordage); and his brothers, Lionel, Elzée, Alfred and Elmo.

He is survived by: his wife Irène Richard (DeGrâce) of Bretagneville; his children, Jacinthe Richard (Louis) of Pointe, Aldéo Richard (Nicole), Irois Richard (Annette), Guy Richard and Michel Richard (Josée) of Clair; his grandchildren, Guillaume, Sébastien, Jean-François, Maryse, Olivier, Jean-Jacques, Lukas, Miguel, Ariane and Anabelle; his great grandchildren, Fréderic and Nayeli; his siblings, Rita Daigle (late Emile) of St. Louis, Alma Daigle (late Antoine) of Dieppe and Eric Richard (Alphonsine) of Gardner, MAS; and his sisters-in-law, Eva Richard of St. Louis, Jeannette Beaulieu of Gardner, MAS and Yolande Richard of Richibucto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
