He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre Thebeau and Alma Thebeau (Robichaud); his grandson Sebastien; and his sisters, Hélène and Pierrette.
He is survived by: his wife Thérèse Thebeau (Hebert) of St-Ignace; his children, Denise Gray (Paul) of Aldouane, Maurice Thebeau of Tumble Ridge, BC, Daniel Thebeau of St-Ignace and Medric Richard (Lise) of St-Ignace; his grandchildren, Annie (Justin), Julie (Philip), Nicholas and Robby; his siblings, Rita Richard (late Paul) of Bouctouche, Simonne Daigle (France) of Moncton, Anne Russel (Al) of Fredericton, Marie-Paul Hebert (Romeo) of Laketon, Adelard Thebeau (Maria) of St-Ignace, Bernard Thebeau (Della) of St. Louis, Elie Thebeau (Gisele) of St-Ignace and Richard Thebeau (Diane) of St. Ignace; and his brother-in-law Donat Hebert of Fredericton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
