With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernestine (Vautour) Johnson (Saint-Ignace, New Brunswick), born in Rumford, Maine, who passed away on January 7, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Vautour and Eleonore Vautour (Gallant); her husband Frederic Johnson; her grandson Charles Vautour; and her siblings, Germaine Comeau, Jeannine, Dolor and Gérard.
She is survived by : her children, Jeannine Johnson (Joseph) of Saint-Ignace, Annette Vautour (Rheal) of Saint-Ignace, Raymond Johnson (Bernice) of Saint-Ignace, Donald Johnson (Lyne) of Saint-Ignace and Fernand Johnson (Shirley) of Saint-Ignace; her grandchildren, Charline Johnson, Martine Johnson, Paryse Johnson, Jason Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Janice Johnson, Jocelyn Johnson and André Vautour; her great grandchildren, Alexandre Daigle, Josée Daigle, Gaetanne Johnson, Véronique Johnson, Danika Vautour, Cloé Vautour, Devin Johnson, Theodore Beauchamp and Charlize Beauchamp; and her sisters, Delia Daigle (late Edouard) of Gardner, Massachusetts, Rosella Ouellette (Francis) of Gardner, Massachusetts and Rosanna Thomas (late Richard) of Saint John. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time, visitors will be required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and government issued ID at the funeral home and church, masks are mandatory and we ask that social distancing is respected.
