He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley McKinley and Irene McKinley (Clark); his son Derrick; his grandson Brandon; his wife Carmelita; his half-siblings, Merlin and Aubrey; and his siblings, Edward, Willis, John, Gary, Sterling, Paul, Ruby, Greta and Roberta.
He is survived by: his daughter Wanda; and his siblings, Herbert, Donald, Kenneth, Beverley and Sharon. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
