She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Joe and Evelyn Chiasson (Deveau); her stepfather Joseph Romard; her sister-in-law Roberta Boucher; and her pet Melvin.

She is survived by: her husband Merle Boucher; her children, Lola Lelievre (Clarence) of Cheticamp, Cape Breton Annette Larade (Everett) of Cheticamp, Cindy Groundwater (Tracey) of Saint John, NB and Michael Burns (Sandra) of St. Albert, AB; her siblings, Elizabeth Chiasson (Soul Sister) of Cheticamp, Diane Chiasson of Cheticamp, Adele Larade (Michel) of Halifax, NS, Richard Chiasson (Anne) of Turo, NS, Tommy Chiasson (Joanne) of Halifax, NS and Placide Chiasson (Carla) of Turo, NS; her grandchildren, Jason Larade (Justine), Mika Burns, Koby Burns and Amelia Barry; and her great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Ryan Larade. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in her memory may be made towards the Alzheimer's Society or to Bobby's Hospice.
