He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dempster and Barbara May Dempster; and his brothers, Louis and Arthur Dempster. He is survived by: his daughter Angie Viola Thompson; his grandson Evan David Thompson; and his siblings, David (Barbie), Leonard (late Linda) and Pearl Trafton (Carl). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
