She was predeceased by: her parents, Aimé Blanchard and Emma Blanchard (Heppell) of Dalhousie; and her brother Guy Blanchard. She is survived by: her siblings, Eileen Blanchard (Joanne van Bommel) and Paul Blanchard (Jocelyne Bujold); her nieces, Sylvie Blanchard-Crowley (Kevin), Johanne Dinelli (Brett) and Mireille Blanchard (Rémi Arsenault); her nephew Pierre Guy Blanchard (Marie Limoges); and her close friend Marion Long.
