It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Coombs of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Gilchrist (Hanson) and Francis Gilchrist; her husband Herbert; and her sons, Bruce and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Ellen Coombs of Saint John and Bradley Coombs (Tammy) of Grand Bay; her daughter-in-law Susan Nesbitt (Allen); her grandchildren, Stacy Coombs (Jeff Campbell) of Sweden, Sean Coombs (Jennifer) of Saint John and Jenna Conley-Beddow (Patrick); and her great grandchild Braylon Conley-Beddow of Grand Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis or a charity of choice.
