We announce the death of Barbara Jane Wasson (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 87. Barbara Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Saunders and Harry Saunders; her husband Raymond Wasson; and her siblings, William Saunders and Norah Mawhinney.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley (Jack) and Susan (Tim); her grandsons, Matthew (Tasha) and Spencer (Mariah); her great grandchildren, Maverick and Malaya; her sisters, Gail Mabey and Nancy Saunders; and her brother-in-law James Wasson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
