She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Katherine McGuire (Parks) and Richard Thomas McGuire III; her former husband Clair Howard Porter; her daughter Catherine Ann Porter; her husband Gailyn David Pitt (Dave); her son Paul David Pitt; her siblings, Elizabeth Ann Wade, Samuel Lorenzo McGuire and Ronald Norman McGuire; and her brother-in-law Richard Wade (Dick).
She is survived by: her brother Dickie; her children, Steven Porter (Susan), Michael Porter (Cheryl), Claire Porter and Tanya Pitt; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad), Matthew and Isaac; her brothers, Richard McGuire (Lynn) and David McGuire (Ann); and her niece Cathy Walton (Wade). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as her life-long friend.
