She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald McVicar and Lucy McVicar (Patterson); her husband Allan Black; her siblings, Gerald, Robert, James and Martha Morecraft; and her siblings-in-law, Ellison Clark, Earl Mersereau, Calvin Morecraft and Wanda McVicar.

She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Clark, Roberta Mersereau, R. Joseph McVicar (Phyllis Cusack), Clara Leslie (Aubrey Jr.), Thelma Lomax (Paul) and Lynda Lomax; and her sister-in-law Connie McVicar.
